Moving from one career path to another has certainly exposed me to many aspects of work wear. From my qualification and ten years experience as a veterinary nurse (bet you didn’t know that one!), to my retail management years, retail support centre customer service, fashion e-commerce and now within a marketing team for one of Australia’s largest employers.

Throughout all the years my first stop for work essentials has always been Target, their co-ordinated yet flexible ranges are just unbeatable when I don’t have time to shop around. With the perfect balance of trend based pieces to give life to their classic wardrobe staples – like the gorgeous trench skirt whom I fell in love with immediately!

I teamed the skirt with a relaxed unbuttoned white shirt (which I rolled up the sleeves) to match the atmosphere of my current employer. This styling tip is easily one of my favourites, such an easy way to dress down my shirts all year around, which are always the basis of my wardrobe regardless of time of day.
